I was born and raised in rural Texas. When I was nine years old, I won first place at the Abilene, “West Texas Fair,” for a piece of sandstone sculpture I had done. From that day forward, I defined myself as an artist.
At sixty-eight years old, I have moved to Sheffield, England, to be near family. My studio is a narrowboat, moored at Victoria Quays in Sheffield.
